LGA looking for a Data Analyst to support the Health and Care Programme

The LGA are looking to recruit a Data Analyst to provide support for the Health and Care Programme team and the local government sector through delivering research, data and analysis. If you are interested, please send your CV to philippa.lynch@local.gov.uk by Friday 5th September (Please ignore the earlier closing date on the LGA's job website - this vacancy has been extended).

The Research and Information Team is looking for a Data Analyst who can design and deliver research, data and analytic services. Working with a Senior Data Analyst the successful post-holder will provide support to the Health and Care Programme team, and deliver our LG Inform data service to local government and Health and Wellbeing Boards, particularly in relation to health and social care data.

It’s essential that you have sound quantitative skills and are confident working with data, particularly for benchmarking and performance management, and ideally for health and social care. We are looking for someone with a good understanding of the criteria for good data and metadata, with excellent written presentation skills and the ability to accurately summarise and convey complex information. The successful candidate can expect to take on a varied and wide-ranging portfolio of work that supports and promotes local authorities and helps them to self-improve.
