Provisional 2013-14 data will soon be available on National Adult Social Care Intelligence Service (NASCIS) - Philippa Lynch

Provisional 2013-14 data will soon be available on NASCIS. Please note that access to these data will be restricted to users in Local Authorities who have signed up to the terms and conditions for management information purposes. The restricted data release is planned for 12 June 2014. This will be confirmed via an e-mail to people who have signed up this year for restricted access. The data will be subsequently published on 8 July 2014.

The provisional/first cut data for 2013-14 will cover:

• 2013-14 Referrals, Assessments and Packages of Care (RAP)
• Adult Social Care Combined Activity Return (ASC-CAR)
• 2013/14 Adult Social Care Survey (ASCS)
• Adult Social Care Outcomes Framework (ASCOF

Anyone with log-in access to the restricted data on the NASCIS system needs to sign up to the terms and conditions around how they and their colleagues can use the data. It is necessary to sign up now even if you signed up last year.

If you still need to sign up, please follow the steps below:

• Consider the terms and conditions even if you signed up last year: http://www.hscic.gov.uk/socialcarecollections2014
• If you are a new user of NASCIS, you will need to register by contacting the HSCIC Contact Centre on 0845 300 6016 or via email at enquiries@hscic.gov.uk
• Complete a user validation form for restricted data, available at http://www.hscic.gov.uk/socialcarecollections2014; and
• Send the completed form to the HSCIC Contact Centre at enquiries@hscic.gov.uk.

On confirmation of eligibility, the HSCIC Contact Centre will e-mail a response confirming that you have been given access to NASCIS in relation to the restricted 2013/14 Adult Social Care data.
