The UK Health Forum has launched AlcoholHealthLink for researchers and policy makers. AlcoholHealthLink is a closed self contained network, to encourage and support collaboration between researchers, policy makers and other alcohol experts and improve translation of knowledge into policy to reduce alcohol-related harm.
The UK Health Forum (UKHF) has investigated the information needs and behaviour of those working in public health in order to better understand the barriers and facilitators in identifying and accessing evidence to enable evidence-based public health. Identifying gaps in provision of evidence has led to UKHF providing a number of services disseminating quality information and space for discussion and sharing of information between public health peers, using grant funding from the Department of Health and Public Health England. AlcoholHealthLink is one of many communities of practice hosted by the UK Health Forum on ncdlinks.org. You can join one or several networks, depending on your interest areas.
