On 29 May 2014 the Health and Social Care Information Centre (HSCIC) released a range of updated indicators from the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) core dataset onto the National Adult Social Care Intelligence Service (NASCIS) https://nascis.hscic.gov.uk. These data are available to all registered NASCIS users.
JSNA is a process that helps identify current and future health and wellbeing needs of a local population, leading to agreed commissioning priorities that will improve outcomes and reduce health inequalities.
