Chief Executives meet to discuss perspectives for local government in 2030

Udite chief executives are meeting this weekend In Malaga to discuss the impact of austerity cuts on local government. Members of the UDITE's executive committee will discuss EU funding for exchanging best practices around integration of migrants, the role of the chief executive in relation to emerging risks, the prospects for the sector in 2030, a formal launch for Khub.net/UDITE and website and prepare the agenda for a meeting of US and European Chief Executives in Brussels on 2-3 May.  The meeting follows on from a successful workshop that compared the status of the local authority CEO in Europe that took place in Paris this week.  Presentations and video stream from that event will be online soon.
